Tickets for this event will be limited and will not go on sale until October 1, 2021. Get on the list to be alerted a few days before tickets go on sale to the public. Make sure and include the band you'll be supporting so we can let them know you'll be there to support them!

By adding your name to the list you will receive an email 2 days before tickets go on sale to the public. At that time you can purchase your tickets. Adding your name to this list does NOT obligate you to purchase tickets, we just want to make sure we save room for you, thank you!

Band Camp Music Fest, established in 2004

Band Camp Music Festival was established in San Diego in 2004 as a fundraiser to help Listen Local Radio continue it's podcasts, web shows and live events. Band Camp is a grass roots festival with a friendly vibe and some of the finest music you'll ever hear.

Band Camp Music Fest 2021 will take place the 5th and 6th of November at The Palms restaurant in Wonder Valley, a funky/friendly roadhouse restaurant just 20 minutes from Joshua Tree. The Palms offers an intimate "listening room" inside, an incredible outdoor stage and lots of room for dancing, camping, RVs, vendors and personal space. The event begins on Friday night with The Palm’s legendary open mic. Saturday’s music festival features nonstop original music by 10 bands outdoors and 18 songwriters "in the round" inside. Performers are from San Diego and the Hi Desert and will rotate between the inside and outside stage from noon to midnight so you won't miss a single act. Additionally, there will be a maker’s market with local hand crafted wares, an interactive group art project, live art and The Palms delicious (and reasonably priced!) food and beverages. Wake up on Sunday morning to our unplugged song circle, open to all. Check out is at noon on Sunday. 

Tickets are $60 per person, 21+. This includes 2 nights of car/tent camping (limited RV or trailer spaces available for an additional $25), open mic on Friday, Band Camp Music Festival on Saturday and a song circle on Sunday. Your favorite band will receive 1/2 of the $60 so make sure and let us know who you're coming to support when purchasing your tickets. Due to the uncertainty of a covid-related shut down, tickets will not go on sale until October 1st., however, you can get on the list using the form or sending an email to Cathryn and we'll save your spot! We'll give you a head's up a few days before tickets go on sale to the public. $60 all inclusive camping tickets must be purchased by November 1st. No camping passes will be sold after November 1st. Saturday only day passes (no camping) are $20 and will be available for purchase at the door day of show.

This event will take place no matter the weather, however, we will of course be following CDC and state guidelines in regards to pandemic protocol because we love SCIENCE! Tickets are non-refundable after October 15th, however, funds can be applied towards future Listen Local events or in the Listen Local gift shop. Thank you for your support!

  • Friendly/quiet dogs on leash are welcomed in the campground area, only
  • No outside food/drinks will be allowed outside the campground area 
  • No fires at camp sites, please enjoy the communal bonfire pit area
  • Sorry, no RV hookups and no power at campsites
  • Outhouses and cold shower available at campground area
  • No weapons or fireworks
  • Camping check in is 5pm on Friday and check out is noon on Sunday
